Hail To The Chief

Since taking office, President Obama has hit the ground running. He has signed into law legislation that guarantees equal pay for men and women, capped the salaries of corporate bigwigs and initiated a $827 billion stimulus package. He has assembled a staff that includes Gen-Xers who have a new zeal for government. One of those people is Birmingham's Corey Ealons who has been tapped to work with Press Secretary and Auburn, Ala. native Robert Gibbs. President Obama has also been said to bring a new swagger to the White House that hadn't existed before. Besides his Harvard Law-breeding and a laundry list of community and government experience, the 48-year-old regularly plays hoops, likes to workout and has an iPod loaded with tunes from Earth, Wind & Fire, Bob Dylan and Jay-Z.
